Journalled on Friday, 6th of January 2023 | Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro: 23 degrees, hot, humid and a lot of rain.
As we welcome the first weekend of the new year, rain continues to fall all day.
It feels like it’s been raining forever, but it hasn’t dampened our spirits. It has been a surprisingly good start to the new year. I doubted how this year would kick off, but it’s turned out better than expected, especially financially.
This unexpected turn of events has boosted my confidence, even though I can’t help but feel a little uncertain about what lies ahead for 200 million Brazilians and me.
Do you know what? I’ve come to realise that uncertainty is just part of life, and it’s what makes the journey more exciting.
As we begin the new year, I want to remind us all that we shall find our way, no matter what challenges or difficulties come our way.
Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please share your thoughts and feedback. Accept both rainy and sunny days, too, for they all contribute to the tapestry of life.
