It is the middle of the week. Today, I started with a quick morning exercise and a walk with Perola, and then had a shower.
I do not have many classes today because some people are travelling or have other commitments. This gives me time to work on various projects, brainstorm, and be creative.
We cannot be creative if we are always rushing and trying to do ten things at once. We are unable to be creative when we are busy. Creativity comes when we are calm, serene, and idle, with time to think. We need time to think about the problem and develop solutions to move forward.
I was not happy with the footer of the “PlaceBeads” website. The top and middle sections were fine, but the footer felt disconnected from the rest of the page. After some thought, I decided to use software I had heard of but never used before.
Despite having virtually no experience with it, I made significant improvements to the page and the footer within an hour. The skills I quickly learned will also be useful for two other websites. Seeing the final version of the page and realising I had accomplished this on my own was very satisfying.
This does not mean that I will not seek people’s help in the future. I have started and built two sites so far. I know many other things need to be learned and done to maintain and improve them for them to be successful.
The beginning is only one part of the process. Success depends on many other factors. It is about not giving up but continuing to improve, refine, and persist until the end. It requires both financial resources and determination.
We need to approach our work with pleasure and enthusiasm. If we do not, it will not be successful. So, we need to be skilled at what we do and genuinely enjoy it. Enjoying what we do is very important. When we are passionate about something, we emit positive energy, which attracts more success from the universe.
Therefore, we must be enthusiastic and genuinely enjoy what we do. We need to be excited about it and put our best effort into it. Ultimately, this will lead to success. It all depends on us and our enthusiasm. We can achieve anything by enjoying our work and creating what we desire.
If we do not enjoy what we are doing, we might give up before achieving success. Many people have become highly successful without money being the primary motivation. They had an idea, brought it to life, and eventually found success, with money being one of the results.
However, money is not the primary factor when starting something. It results from success and the excitement of doing something you like.
At the beginning, we need excitement and enthusiasm to move forward. Money can help, but there are other factors too. The most important thing is doing something we love to the best of our abilities, which makes us feel alive. That positive energy is contagious, and success will follow. However, we should do it because we enjoy it, not just for financial rewards, which are secondary.
Money is an important factor in our society. Financial success is measured across all areas of our lives, and if you are not a player in this game, you will be seen as a loser.
Financially, my school was not a success. However, from another perspective, the students were happy.
They were delighted to learn English to a high standard. Even today, many people remember and miss the school. Every time I teach Dona Vera, she praises the school’s quality. Some former and current students still study with me, and they consider the school a reference point in their lives.
Despite not being a financial success, the school had a positive and proactive impact on people’s lives, thanks to my enthusiasm, love of English, love of teaching, and interaction with others. Thanks to that, I still have a livelihood, even though the school is closed.
For the school to achieve financial success, more than providing high-quality classes in a pleasant environment was required. Other factors beyond my control may have influenced the final results. However, this is a topic I would like to discuss at a later date.
Money is also necessary if we live off the grid. It is almost impossible to survive without it, as everything revolves around it, including bills, food, education, and clothing. Our society is based on money.
Finally, achieving financial success is the reward for all our hard work, investment, and sacrifice. In life, everything involves some form of sacrifice. The key is to determine how much sacrifice you are willing to make. If we are fortunate enough to achieve success, it is not guaranteed and depends on how each person defines it.
Success can be linked to financial rewards. It is essential to have enough money to pay our bills and save for emergencies, unexpected expenses, holidays, and personal indulgences. Receiving substantial financial compensation for our efforts and sacrifices is deeply gratifying.
Whatever we do, in any form or way, life shows us the worth of our actions and sacrifices in the universe. The money we receive reflects our value and worth, even though the societies we live in today are unfair. There is still a connection between our value, worth, and what we receive.
Money is not the only reward. There are also personal and internal rewards. Valuing the simple things in life is just as important, if not more so. But, as I stated, without money, we cannot survive. Life is not just a question of survival; it is about being happy, realising our potential, and helping others and making them happy. Without money, this is difficult.
I need to work on “The Long Gringo” and to finish the “PlaceBeads” site in the next couple of weeks.
Be kind and be happy, and if you can’t be happy, still be kind, but not naïve!
