Today, I have to go to Copacabana to give a class to Dona Vera.
I don’t really want to go, but getting out of the flat and being in the street is good. Although working from home is very convenient, we must get out, breathe fresh air, walk, and give our brains a break. Otherwise, our home becomes a prison.
It is important to remember that we are animals. We are also social animals, so we must meet and interact with people in person. Meeting, talking, and joking with others is good for our mental health.
When I’m not teaching, I’m working on the sites. When I’m not working on the sites, I do housework or go for a walk with Perola to exercise. Everything is better when we are active. When we are idle, we tend to become lazy or lose direction.
A lucky person knows what they want every day. Even though achieving your goals can be difficult, you have them. A goal is a reason, a direction. It is what makes us, and without it, we are nothing.
Sometimes we think we have a clear direction, but we’re actually deceiving ourselves. It’s essential to understand who we are and what we’re capable of, even if we don’t yet have all the skills to achieve our goals. If you can think and dream it, you can do it. There’s always a way to overcome your obstacles and reach your goals.
Life is like the railway tracks laid on a steep mountain pass in northern Italy long ago.
At that time, there wasn’t the technology to build a train to travel on those tracks up the mountain. Only after that technology was developed could a train be built to go up the mountain along the railway line laid long before.
The people who laid the tracks had faith that one day there would be the technology and know-how to build a train that could climb the mountain and take passengers to the top. Even though they did not have the technology, they still laid the tracks because of their faith. Life is just like this.
We have an idea, a goal, a desire, etc. We may not have all the skills and know-how to reach that goal when we start out, but as we progress towards achieving it, we will acquire the necessary skills along the way.
It’s like travelling down a road with small pit stops or service stations on each side. You must stop at these pit stops to pick up the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to overcome obstacles and resolve problems. You must use these opportunities to reach your ultimate goal or destination.
I’m working on my second website, which is almost finished. Over the past two months, I’ve built two websites for the first time with very little help from others. I’ve learned how to use WordPress, and I still have a lot more to learn, but I’ve accomplished something I didn’t know how to do before, and I’m getting better at it. This will make me unstoppable in the future.
This is why the journey is more important than the destination. It is also why we should know how to value it.
Rather than focusing solely on the destination, we should embrace and overcome the difficulties that arise along the way. Without these challenges, we would learn very little, which would be pretty dull. We should also value the journey as the most enriching part. We often think the goal, the pot of gold, the prize, etc., is the most important, and in some ways it is.
However, the real value is in the learning process from our journey. If we don’t know how to value the journey, the final goal is nowhere near what we expected. The gold is in the journey, not the destination.
Have a dream, give it direction, and enjoy the journey!

It’s a Tuesday of work, and I am one step closer to finishing the second site. I’m a little stressed with Yasmin at home, which nowadays seems quite normal. But everything is good.
