Journalled on Thursday, 5th of January 2023 | Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro: 25 degrees, overcast and a lot of rain.
I’m up early, as always! I started my day with an intense workout, which left me feeling sluggish and lazy. However, I had a busy day ahead.
My first task was to pick up my new glasses from Vera at Belli Occhi Otica in Centro Comercial in Copacabana, in the same gallery where I used to have my school. I always buy my glasses from her; she has a great selection, excellent service, and competitive prices.
I bought the glasses on a whim about a week ago, and now I’m not sure if they are my style. Nevertheless, I’m excited to pick them up and find out.
It has been rainy for the past 24 hours, and it looks like it will continue for the next week or so.
While rain isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, being English, I’m used to it and enjoy the vibe it brings, especially in Rio, where the rain is warm rather than cold like it is in England.
